They year 2010 is halfway over and is a mark of a whole new decade and as we turn from the 2000s and even further from the 1990s it is always a good idea to take a look back. Do you all remember the Rap City Freestyles that kicked off during BET afternoon series that everyone used to tune in to. It was great to catch your favorite rappers in the "booth", and catch them making raw music. In this featured Rap City booth session the Cash Money Miilionaires are highlghted and this was from the early in year 2000.
Lil Wayne, Baby, and Juvenile all go hard on the beat in this Rap City In The Basement Freestyle.
And since the Atlanta Brave are on a tear in the MLB right now, it only takes true Braves fans back to the 1990s. Back then when the city of Atlanta had Deion Sanders playing for both the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons. It was only right for "PrimeTime" to be signed to Nike, release dope sneakers, and make classic commercials with jewelry on. This commercial dates back 1993... God I miss the 90s. These Nike Air Diamond Turf Trainers are releasing this June so stay tuned...

Looks like there is not going to be a Tyler Perry – Aaron McGruder standoff in court. Darn. 'The Boondocks' episode that everyone is STILL talking about attempted to demolish Perry’s image by highlighting every rumor and negative nuance that surrounds his work in theatre and film. Entertainment Weekly gave a pretty good description of the episode in case you missed it:
The “Pause” episode’s Ma Duke character was clearly Madea, and it stands to reason that the Winston Jerome character was Tyler Perry (neither Perry’s office nor Turner Networks would comment on the episode). Jerome’s works were portrayed as poorly written and almost buffoonish and set him up as a closeted, cultish leader, who created his Ma Duke empire as a way to solicit sex with men. In the episode, Huey and Riley’s grandpa gets cast in Jerome’s new play, “Ma Duke Gets a Man.” First he’s asked to kiss Ma Duke on stage, then Jerome asks him straight out for sex.

It’s hard to imagine Serena Williams not absolutely loving her strong, curvy body, but in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, she reveals that she’s a regular woman just like the rest of us. She admits to the mag, which hits stands on July 20th, she used to covet her sister’s (Venus) model-esque body shape. "I'm super-curvy. I have big boobs and this massive butt. She's tall and she's like a model and she fits everything. I was growing up, wanting to be her, wanting to look like her, and I was always fitting in her clothes, but then one day I couldn’t. But it’s fine. Now I’m obviously good, but it’s a weird thing. . . . To this day, I don’t love my arms. People want more fit arms, but my arms are too fit. But I’m not complaining. They pay my bills."

Lawd have mercy! Reggie Bush was spotted “hanging out” with Amber Rose (Yes, ‘Ye’s Amber) over the weekend, and you know all hell has broke loose over the sighting. Kanye and Amber allegedly broke up some time ago, but have still been seen canoodling all over the globe. We all already know that Reggie is no longer with Kim Kardashian, so the question on everyone’s mind was a frantic, ‘What’s going on here!?’ The pair was seen “getting cozy” at AXE lounge in Southhampton over the weekend. It is even alleged that they took “bathroom breaks” together. You’ve got to be kidding me!

keyshia cole new album details
After making her first post-pregnancy appearance at the 10th annual BET awards, Keyshia Cole has announced that she’s working hard on her fourth album and it features a duet with singer Tank. Cole surprised everyone at the awards show when she appeared on stage to sing the chorus to B.o.B.’s ‘Airplanes’.
Producer Donald Alford, who’s responsible for the Monica-assisted song, ‘Trust,’ confirms that the Tank duet will also be a ballad. Oooh, I’m looking forward to that! The album will drop later this year.
And in case you don’t remember, Cole just gave birth to her first child with fiancé Daniel Gibson back in March. Let’s hear a round of applause for Keyshia’s hot post-baby body.
